Migraine improved with Chiropractic

Last year, I posted a synopsis of a Macquarie University  study into how chiropractic can help treat and alleviate Headachemigraines:

Chiropractic therapy for migraine

The study A randomized controlled trial of chiropractic spinal manipulative therapy for migraine was completed through the Department of Chiropractic at Macquarie University in 2000 and shed light on the influence of chiropractic care as therapy for migraine headaches.

22% of participants reported more than a 90% reduction of migraines as a consequence of the 2 months of SMT. Approximately 50% more participants reported significant improvement in the morbidity of each episode. The results of this study support previous results showing that some people report significant improvement in migraines after chiropractic SMT.

Recently, an American case study has revealed that ADHD and Migraine improve with chiropractic.

The recent case study suggests that chiropractic care may not only resolve head pain, it could have  a positive impact on learning and behavior in kids. This study confirms the benefits of chiropractic care on children who suffer from reoccurring headaches, as well as from behavioral and learning issues. That makes this drug-free treatment option a win-win for children and parents alike.
