Here are Dr Sarah’s tips to help you make the most out of your 2018:

Get rid of the word resolution instead consider this: Reinvention, Repeat, Resolve

Reinvention: Shake up 2018! Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. Challenge yourself and think of small achievable ways that you can move in the direction you want to go.

Repeat: Success is determined by the equation: Success= developing skills and instincts and patterns of behaviour through hours of practice and repeat. Think of breaking it down like Tim Ferris does from “The 4 hour work week”. He talks about having “2-week experiments” or “6-month projects”.

Write it down, find your “WHY”, and then be accountable (tell someone, post it on social media, get an accountability buddy)

Resolve: Make a DECISION. Make an honest to goodness CHOICE in your head that you are doing this and make it SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and set a Time) A Greek Poet “Archilochus” is quoted to say “We don’t rise to the level of our expectations; we fall to the level of our training” So train to succeed. Train your mind and your body every day to train to the level that you deserve.
