Dr Sarah MacNeil

Doctor of Chiropractic

How I got inspired:

My life was changed by chiropractic from a very early age when I was diagnosed with serious digestive problems as a child. Not knowing what else to do my parents took me to my medical doctor who put me on heavy medication.

I began to withdrawl socially and physically and my parents were becoming worried. My mom then heard from a friend about chiropractic and she decided to take me in for a checkup. Within 3 months all my digestive issues were completely resolved and my life was changed. I was a healthy, happy, vibrant kid again! I knew I had to share the amazing message of chiropractic with everyone and decided at the age of 13 to become a chiropractor.

My Goal:

To see my community raise to a higher awareness of health and what being at optimal health is about. To lead by example with integrity and to serve others and leave the world a better place then when I arrived.

When I’m not at Chiropractic Central I am:

Riding horses, running, playing tennis, training at the gym, and travelling around Australia......and I do love a good episode of Masterchef.

Dr. Kasia Kieliszek

B.Sc.M.Chiro (Chiropractor)

How I got inspired:

My awareness into chiropractic began when I was 11 years old where my dad had suffered a debilitating back injury leaving him bed ridden for 2 months and was told that spinal surgery would be the only option for him to return to functioning.

He decided instead to seek the advice of a chiropractor and after a series of regular chiropractic adjustments his health was back on track, he was able to stand up again, walk, run, play tennis and climb ladders.

Since then, I became fascinated with science and how amazing the human body is.

My Goal:

Is to inspire positive changes into everyone’s health journey and to provide opportunities and knowledge for people to achieve exactly what they want without limitations

When I’m not at Chiropractic Central I am:

I love practicing hot yoga, watching sunsets and sunrises plus enjoying refreshing beach runs.

Olivia McFadyen

Naturopath

How I got inspired:

The first time I saw a Naturopath I walked out of the consultation thinking “that’s exactly what I want to do”. It was one of the most powerful, inspirational and life-changing moments. It really was a light bulb moment.

At this time, I was a young woman that finally learnt to love and celebrate my body and health, not attack it or take it for granted. I learnt that food can heal or harm you and I learnt how nutrition, herbal medicine and homeopathy has the power to rebalance your body so that it can heal, naturally.

My Goal:

To inspire, educate and empower you to be the best version of yourself. Natural medicine enables you to reach and maintain optimal health and work towards preventing chronic disease.

When I’m not at Chiropractic Central I am:

Spending time with my family; we’re usually persuing a fresh food market, exploring a new café somewhere or having a highly competitive game of ‘500’. I do have a soft spot for any kind of reality show, musical or live sport event!

Shona Lee

Remedial Massage Therapist

How I got inspired:

Movement and the human body is the underlying theme throughout my many interests. I enjoy working with people, am passionate about living dynamically and love projects that are hands on.

A ‘doer’ by nature, I know what it is like to be busy and not even realise how much stress we are subjecting our body to as to adapt and accommodate what we are asking of it, until the pain/strain signals reach an intensity that is impossible to ignore.

Massage teaches us how to listen to the signals our body is giving us about when it needs to rest and recharge, bringing the body back into balance so you can be more effective at whatever you are doing. The human body is remarkable and I love that I will be learning more and more about it my whole life.

My Goal:

Is for you to experience your body in its most dynamic and connected state, by releasing tension in your soft tissue structures using just the right amount of pressure; so you feel lighter, free to move easily, relaxed yet energised for functioning optimally.

When I’m not at Chiropractic Central I am:

Outdoors exploring, sailing in a little wooden boat, dancing Argentine tango, getting creative in the kitchen or making spaces more beautiful in my home or garden.

Tara Noakes

Chiropractic Assistant and Corporate Wellness Manager

How I got inspired:

I started out as a massage therapist training next door to a chiropractor. I didn't know much about chiropractic at this time and I was actually quite scared of the whole "cracking my back" until I met the chiropractors and that is where my journey started.

I started learning about the nervous system and the immune system and how it is all connected.

My immune system was not very good and I was always getting sick. I started getting adjusted and getting more and more education about ways to stay healthy and the effects on your body when your spine is subluxated. I now rarely get a cold and if I do it lasts for such a short time. The things in my body I have noticed changing have been amazing and it has now become my mission to inform everybody I know about the importance of getting adjusted and having a healthy lifestyle.

My Goal:

Is to educate the people in my life that I meet or already know about chiropractic and the importance of natural wellness and health. So everybody can work together to make our community much healthier and happier naturally.

When I’m not at Chiropractic Central I am:

Working out at the gym and am a bit of a Crossfit lover. Creating clean and healthy recipes in my new kitchen, then sharing these with friends and families at weekly dinner parties and travelling around the globe finding new adventures and making the most out of the life I have been given.

Phoebe Haselden

Chiropractic Assistant

How I got inspired:

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology, I always had an itch for the natural medicine industry and pursue my true passion for health and wellness. I am now currently in my second year of study to become a Naturopath.

Before working at Chiropractic Central, I didn’t know what chiropractic was all about! It didn’t take me long to learn what chiropractic is and recognise the many astounding benefits it brings to an individual’s overall health and wellbeing. I now get adjusted weekly, an exciting part of my week!! I have noticed a number of positive changes in my health, including a much stronger immune system and postural corrections. I have definitely been converted into a passionate chiropractic warrior and now endeavour to spread the chiropractic love whenever I can.

My Goal:

Is to educate and inspire the precious people in my life in regards to taking care of their amazing bodies and health. We must learn to appreciate and love who we are, nourishing ourselves inside and out. I believe we should endeavour to lead the healthiest life we possibly can, taking care of our body, mind and spirit

When I’m not at Chiropractic Central I am:

Getting active at the gym or out in the sunshine, studying, spending time with my precious family and friends, travelling, eating good, clean and oh so tasty food and sniffing out new and delicious places to eat!

Alice Falconer

Chiropractic Assistant

How I got inspired:

When I was growing up I knew nothing about cooking and nutrition; but I was drawn to discover more, firstly writing down Jamie Oliver recipes to copy and reading all the books I could on nutrients and food science and presently studying to become a Nutritionist!

In my adult life when my health was far from optimal, I turned to the natural healing power of food and from there my mind was opened to the many benefits of natural healthcare including Chiropractic - there is no going back!

I managed to turn my health around and learnt so much in the process I just can't wait to share with the world and help others to take control of their health, naturally.

My Goal:

To support those around me in their own health journey and live life to the fullest; constantly learning and sharing new information to inspire people to be the best and most vibrant version of themselves they can be! I especially understand what it can be like to struggle with long term and chronic illness and feel helpless to change this; I want to help people feel empowered to reach their full potential too!

When I’m not at Chiropractic Central I am:

Going on walks with my dog, Fergus (often getting lost!), conjuring up new creations in the kitchen to nourish my family and friends, travelling to as many cold and snowy places as I can and studying Nutritional Medicine!
